DESCRIPTION

The City of Geneva is soliciting bids for integration services for an upgraded SCADA system. The project includes installing software licenses, setting up two redundant Dell SCADA desktop towers with monitors and UPS units, upgrading the application to the latest FactoryTalk edition, and upgrading laptop software to Rockwell Studio 5000 Professional to support a Windows 11 upgrade. The awarded bidder will also perform system testing to verify plant operability. All hardware and software will be provided by the City.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Must pay prevailing Rate of Wages as determined by the Department of Labor or Court of Appeal, Kane County
  • Must provide signed certification that bidder is not barred from bidding due to violations of Section 33E-3 or 33E-4 of Chapter 720, Illinois Compiled Statutes
  • Must maintain Workmen's Compensation & Employer's Liability insurance
  • Must maintain Comprehensive Automobile Liability insurance
  • Must maintain Comprehensive General Liability insurance
  • Must name the City of Geneva and its employees, agents, and representatives as additional insured on all insurance certificates
  • Must provide a certificate of insurance with a minimum ten days' notice of cancellation
  • Must comply with the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) of 1975
  • Must comply with the Prevailing Wage Rate Act of the State of Illinois
  • Must provide a drug-free workplace as provided by 30 ILCS 580/1 et. seq.
