DESCRIPTION

The Northern Illinois Transit Authority (NITA) is procuring services to develop interior and exterior rail station mapping through the creation of GTFS Pathways files. The project includes developing an implementation plan, collecting data through site visits for 130 Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) stations and 11 Metra regional hubs, coding stations into the GTFS Pathways format, and assisting with integration into existing GTFS bundles and GIS systems. The contractor will also develop a guide for future data collection and a maintenance plan for long-term closures. The agreement is for an 18-month base term.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Firm must have at least four years of experience performing work similar to the scope of services
  • Key personnel must have at least three years of experience performing work similar to the scope of services
  • Must provide three references for comparable projects completed within the last five years
  • Must provide evidence of current business insurance
  • Must provide financial statements for the past year
  • Must submit a DBE Compliance Plan with a 12% goal
  • Must provide an organizational chart
  • Must provide resumes for all personnel involved in the project
