DESCRIPTION

The government authority in Portsmouth, Virginia seeks a vendor to provide general construction services. The scope of work includes constructing and modifying offices and workspaces, constructing or modifying exterior structures, roof repairs and replacements, concrete repairs and replacements, site work, demolition, emergency repairs to various building systems, and any other construction tasks as assigned under this contract.

Vendors will be responsible for delivering complete construction installations for each assigned project. This can involve masonry, carpentry, sheetrock, plaster, plumbing, electrical work, full ceiling and lighting installation, all types of flooring, painting, trim finish, and any other required tasks to complete projects. All questions from interested parties must be submitted by June 18, 2026. The contract is scheduled for a one-year term, and a non-mandatory virtual pre-bid meeting will be conducted on June 9, 2026.
