DESCRIPTION

The City of Alhambra is soliciting proposals for professional engineering design services (PS&E) for the FY26/27 RMRA Streets Rehabilitation Project. The scope of work includes project management, utility notifications, records research, field review, topographic survey, coring samples and soil reporting, cost estimates, and the preparation of construction plans and specifications for 15 street segments. The design phase must be completed within 90 working days from the award of the proposal.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

Must be a qualified professional firm
Plans and specifications must be completed by a registered engineer
Must provide resumes of inspector(s) and Project Manager/Engineer
Must provide 3 public agency references for similar projects
Must comply with City's Standard Contract and Insurance Requirements
Must have professional liability insurance with a minimum of $1,000,000 per claim and in the aggregate
Must have commercial general liability insurance with a minimum of $1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 general aggregate
Must have automobile liability insurance with a minimum of $1,000,000 combined single limit
Must have workers' compensation insurance in accordance with State of California statutory limits
Must have employer's liability insurance with a minimum of $1,000,000
