Virginia Tech is seeking a vendor to provide a cloud-hosted Software as a Service (SaaS) fundraising and engagement platform tailored for high-volume donor interactions. The platform must adhere to the latest Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standard (DSS) requirements for secure payment processing and integrate with Virginia Tech-approved payment processors such as Braintree, or list alternative compatible options. Real-time data exchange with Blackbaud CRM is essential for donor records, fund mapping, and gift processing workflows.
The platform should offer comprehensive API support enabling batch uploads, offline gift entry, and real-time, customizable reporting. It must also support mobile wallet payments including ApplePay, Venmo, PayPal, GooglePay, and cryptocurrencies. The system should be capable of accommodating at least 700 giving funds with hierarchical mapping capabilities. Additional features include a sandbox environment for testing, Giving Day simulations, and configurations.
Customization options are required for platform branding, including CSS modifications, color schemes, and embedding video content. Staff should have the ability to configure and modify platform features independently, without the need for vendor intervention. Administrative dashboards should provide robust monitoring of platform performance, donor engagement, and ambassador activities. The initial contract term for this platform will be one year.
