A government authority in Effingham, Georgia is seeking a vendor to provide food services for the county prison, jail, and senior citizens center. The scope includes meal preparation and service for multiple facilities with different service schedules and requirements.

For the jail, the selected vendor must provide three meals per day, seven days per week, consisting of a hot breakfast, bag lunch, and hot supper. The morning meal and bag lunch must be ready for pickup by jail staff at 5:00 a.m., and the evening meal must be ready for pickup by 5:00 p.m. For the prison, the vendor must also provide three meals per day, seven days per week, consisting of a hot breakfast, bag lunch, and hot supper. Bag lunches are required for both prison inmates and jail inmates on weekends.

For the senior citizens center, the vendor must provide one hot meal per day, five days per week, Monday through Friday. Proposers are required to submit a four-week inmate menu with complete nutritional analysis, along with the "as served" portion sizes for each menu item. Proposals without the menu used to calculate service costs may be considered non-responsive. All questions must be submitted no later than July 20, 2026.
