Campbell County is soliciting proposals for annual financial auditing services in accordance with Government Auditing Standards and Virginia APA requirements. The scope includes the County's annual audit, preparation of required financial reports, related statutory audits, and presentation of results to the Board of Supervisors. The contract term is for a three-year fiscal period with an option to renew annually for up to two additional one-year periods.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

Must be an independent certified public accountant or firm
Must be licensed by the Commonwealth of Virginia to perform audits
Must be independent as defined by the AICPA Code of Professional Conduct
Audit team must have continuing professional education in government accounting, auditing, and financial reporting
Must have at least three references for governmental audit engagements of similar size and scope within the past five years
Must provide proof of CPA firm licensure or eligibility to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia
Must maintain required insurance coverage including $1,000,000 automobile liability, $1,000,000 occurrence/$2,000,000 aggregate general liability, and $1,000,000 occurrence/$2,000,000 aggregate professional liability
