DESCRIPTION


The government authority located in Baltimore, Maryland is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive financial and accounting services tailored to the needs of small businesses. Services will include Certified Public Accountant (CPA), licensed accountant professionals, and bookkeepers to deliver accounting, tax, and financial advisory solutions.

Key responsibilities encompass setting up accounting systems, managing general ledgers, preparing and reviewing financial statements, and cleaning up existing records. Vendors will also offer in-depth financial advisory services such as cash flow analysis, forecasting, budget development, financial performance monitoring, and support with business planning. One-on-one consultations and technical assistance will be provided for small business clients, including guidance on financial literacy and support for loan applications and required financial documentation.

Succession planning services are also required, including business valuation, developing cash flow projections for succession scenarios, retirement and exit planning, advice on tax-efficient sale structures, support in developing buy-sell agreements with legal counsel, preparing financial statements for due diligence, and risk/opportunity assessment during business transition. Additionally, the contractor will be responsible for developing and delivering customized training – including curricula design, creating training materials, hosting live workshops (in-person or virtual), delivering personalized coaching, and facilitating group training sessions.
