DESCRIPTION

The government authority in Columbia, Maryland seeks a qualified vendor to provide fee accounting and consulting services for assigned properties. Responsibilities include preparing journal entries, entering and mapping income and balance sheet items to the commission’s chart of accounts from third-party management company financial reports, and ensuring mapping and reconciliation within five business days of receiving reports.

The selected vendor will prepare monthly financial statement analyses, review depreciation, investigate variances between actual results and budget, monitor delinquency and vacancy trends, and identify misclassifications or missing accounts with recommendations for mapping improvements. Additionally, the vendor will consolidate monthly financial statements for management and the commission board, provide internal auditing services as needed, and assist in gathering materials for the commission’s annual financial audit.

This contract has a period of one year, with all vendor questions due by June 16, 2026.
