DESCRIPTION

The issuing organization seeks consulting services to provide federal funding guidance, strategic advice, and education in support of regional initiatives. The engagement is focused on helping strengthen access to federal opportunities and maintaining strategic engagement with federal partners across priority areas such as mobility, sustainability, housing, economic development, recreation, and related infrastructure efforts.

The selected consultant will provide ongoing counsel on regional infrastructure initiatives, identify and share relevant federal funding opportunities, and advise on strategies to plan for and advance intercity passenger rail. The scope also includes guidance on rail-oriented development, including how station areas and corridors can be leveraged to capture real estate value, support transit-oriented growth, and improve the financial case for passenger rail investment.

The consultant is expected to conduct up to two strategic advisory calls per month with the executive team and participate in at least one in-person strategic session during the engagement.
