Must adhere to the Vendor and Partner Code of Conduct
Must be able to enter into a Master Services Agreement
Must maintain general liability insurance of at least $2,000,000
Must maintain errors and omissions insurance of at least $1,000,000
Must maintain automobile liability insurance of at least $2,000,000
Must maintain Workers' Compensation coverage as required by the Workers' Compensation Board of Alberta

DESCRIPTION

The organization is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive event management, planning, and organization services. The selected provider will support the delivery of a variety of group events including meetings, workshops, stakeholder engagements, conferences, marketplaces, and partner functions.

Services may include, but are not limited to, event planning and coordination, logistics management, venue sourcing, on-site event support, supplier coordination, audio-visual and production support, registration management, and post-event reporting. The successful firm will deliver end-to-end event management solutions for Travel Alberta, ensuring fully integrated planning, execution, and post-event evaluation across events ranging from small stakeholder meetings to large-scale international conferences and missions.

The scope of work includes strategic alignment with market priorities, robust project governance with clear timelines, budgets, and risk management processes, expert venue sourcing and program design, seamless participant and stakeholder management, and comprehensive coordination of suppliers and production. The contract will be awarded for a one-year term. All questions regarding the RFP are to be submitted by June 10, 2026.
