DESCRIPTION


The government authority located in San Antonio, Texas is seeking a vendor to provide a broad range of environmental services. General responsibilities include underground storage tank removal, asbestos-containing material abatement, mold remediation, building demolition, decontamination of equipment and infrastructure, contaminated water pumping, and coordination for transportation and disposal of hazardous waste. The contractor may be required to manage any project that necessitates materials, labor, and equipment to address environmental safety concerns.

Routine spill cleanup responses are expected during standard business hours, Monday through Friday, unless a situation is deemed urgent. The contractor must respond promptly to spills that pose risks to drinking water, surface water, sewers, food facilities, farmland, vegetable gardens, or areas with public visibility or impact, as well as incidents involving significant property damage, personal injury, or those occurring over sensitive ecological zones such as the Edwards Aquifer Recharge Zone, Contributing Zone, or Transition Zone.

The contract will span two years. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for June 4, 2026, and all questions regarding the RFP must be submitted by June 11, 2026.
