The government authority in Chapel Hill, North Carolina is seeking a qualified vendor to provide enhanced commissioning services. The selected firm will collaborate closely with the project architect, related consultants, and the Construction Manager at Risk to ensure comprehensive coordination throughout the design and construction phases.
The commissioning process will encompass all systems that consume energy, impact indoor environmental quality, support life safety, or are necessary for code compliance. This includes, but is not limited to, the building envelope, building automation systems (BAS) and controls, electrical and power distribution systems, utility monitoring and control systems, and irrigation systems. The vendor will be responsible for assisting in the development of the Owner’s Project Requirements, creating the Commissioning (Cx) Plan, and performing review of commissioning submittals.
The contract will be awarded for a period of one year.
