The government authority in Vancouver, Washington is seeking a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive engineering design services for a new odor control biofilter. The selected consultant will coordinate closely with city engineering staff to develop the project scope and plan, as well as review existing facility record drawings, geotechnical reports, odor control studies, and other relevant engineering documentation.
The scope includes preparing a preliminary design report with design criteria, siting options, and recommendations; developing design and contract documents for all elements of the odor control facilities, such as the biofilter, mechanical, civil, instrumentation and controls, electrical, seismic/structural, geotechnical components, and landscaping. The project requires demolition of the existing odor control system, with technical specifications that include provisions for temporary odor control during construction.
Additionally, the consultant will prepare an operation and maintenance manual for the completed odor control facility and produce final record drawings. The anticipated contract period is one year, with all questions to be submitted by July 2, 2026.
