DESCRIPTION
A government authority in Live Oak, Texas is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive elevator maintenance and inspection services. Services include the provision of certified or licensed technicians, labor, supervision, materials, replacement parts, lubricants, hydraulic fluids, tools, and equipment required for the maintenance of all vertical transportation equipment. This encompasses hydraulic elevators, traction elevators, machine-room-less elevators, limited-use or limited-application elevators, wheelchair lifts, platform lifts, and all associated systems, including control, safety, signalling, door, hoist way, pit, machine room, control room, cab, hydraulic, traction, suspension, and auxiliary equipment.
The selected vendor will be responsible for systematic examination, adjustment, cleaning, lubrication, testing, repair, and replacement of elevator components to ensure safe and reliable operation. Duties include annual inspections, required safety testing, monthly full-service preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, callback and repair services, and verification of proper operation for all elevator systems and safety devices. Regular checks are required for abnormal noise, vibration, leaks, worn parts, corrosion, pest intrusion, electrical faults, and code or safety issues. The awarded contract is for one year.
