DESCRIPTION

The municipality seeks a qualified vendor to furnish and install a digital, solar-powered baseball scoreboard designed for municipal outdoor athletic field use. The scoreboard must feature an LED digital display suitable for both baseball and softball gameplay scoring, with clear visibility of home and visiting team scores, inning number, balls, strikes, and outs, utilizing high-visibility digits readable in full daylight. The housing must be weather-resistant to withstand year-round New England climate conditions.

In addition to core scoring functions, the scoreboard should include dedicated spaces for team branding and sponsorship/advertisement, as well as wireless and app-based control systems for user-friendly operation. The installation requires necessary safety measures, such as protective netting, cage, or other treatments to the scoreboard face. The vendor is also responsible for designing and constructing foundations or footings, which includes relevant excavation and concrete placement.
