A government authority in Illinois seeks a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive design engineering services for a variety of public infrastructure projects. The scope of work may include preparing contract documents such as plans, specifications, and estimates, supported by thorough engineering analyses.
Required services encompass a wide range of functions including general studies, grant application preparation and permitting, roadway and traffic signal design, geometric and traffic studies (including intersection analysis and capacity studies), Complete Streets reviews, development and analysis of maintenance of traffic plans, coordination for detour routing, and involvement in IDOT Detour Committee meetings. Vendors may also be responsible for GIS services, data collection, topographic surveys and base maps, geotechnical investigations (including CCDD testing), land acquisition (plats, legal work, negotiations, and documentation), bridge and culvert design, drainage/flooding solutions, bridge inspections and condition reporting, bridge type studies, and load rating analyses.
