The County is seeking a vendor to design and upgrade its current analog jail intercom system to a digital audio solution that offers enhanced capabilities while maintaining all present functionalities. The selected contractor will be responsible for delivering comprehensive design drawings and detailed functional and technical specifications for the new digital system.
The contractor is to assess and identify the necessary technical infrastructure required for the upgrade and provide a ten-year total cost of ownership estimate, enabling the Department to understand the full scope of the financial investment. The replacement intercom system must be compatible with existing inmate security software systems, maintain integration for Avigilon camera call-ups through the Wonderware system, and implement automated camera call-ups for secure door operations. The new solution should be scalable to support future facility modifications and equip workstations with new microphones featuring push-to-talk buttons.
All vendor questions related to this project must be submitted by June 18, 2026.
