DESCRIPTION

The government authority in British Columbia seeks a vendor to provide data analytics services aimed at supporting and expanding their data visualization and analytics (DVA) platform, primarily leveraging Spotfire. The goal is to enhance data-driven decision-making across municipal operations.

The initiative covers integration across several tiers: a Security and Routing Tier using Spotfire Servers (Linux) with ForgeRock Single-Sign-On (OAuth 2.0), a Worker Service Tier comprising Spotfire Web Players, Node Managers, Automation Services (Windows), and Data Visualization servers (Linux), plus a Data Tier utilizing Microsoft Active Directory and Spotfire/TDV repositories on Oracle 19c Enterprise RAC. Multiple data sources and information links are configured to Oracle and SQL Server back-end databases and systems.

Vendors are expected to propose a long-term data analytics strategy, approaches for futureproofing, scalability, and sustainability, and integration of emerging technologies such as AI and predictive analytics/modeling. All optional services must be clearly identified and priced separately from the base proposal. End-user training and knowledge transfer are also required.
