Cybersecurity Analyst Services

The selected vendor will provide comprehensive cybersecurity analyst services. Responsibilities include monitoring and analyzing IT resources utilizing security tools such as SIEM to detect and mitigate incidents, as well as analyzing suspicious activities to determine their source. The cybersecurity analyst will be part of the response team for potential security incidents, acting as a first responder to investigate, contain, and mitigate threats in real time, and escalating issues to senior team members as necessary.

The analyst is expected to employ various tools and resources for proactive threat hunting and to implement preventative measures against emerging threats. Additional duties involve supporting a robust vulnerability management program, assisting senior staff in tuning, managing, and engineering resources for countermeasures, and proactively performing intrusion detection and log analysis for early threat identification. The role also assists in enforcing the overall cybersecurity program plan and related initiatives.
