The government authority in Virginia seeks vendors to provide cyber physical systems capable of real-time execution. The initiative, known as Forge, is designed to create agents that are real-time, physics-informed, uncertainty-aware, data-assimilating, and AI-driven, collectively forming an advanced cyber-physical system. This system must be able to successfully integrate with a developmental combat system to significantly accelerate testing and fielding, aiming for a tenfold or greater improvement.
Although flight testing serves as the primary demonstration and validation environment, the technologies developed must be platform- and domain-agnostic, ensuring their applicability to aircraft, ground, maritime, and other combat systems. Questions regarding this RFP must be submitted by March 12, 2026.
