The government authority in California is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive cross-connection hazard assessment services, alongside as-needed incident investigation and corrective action support. The scope includes conducting initial hazard assessments for all water customer premises connected to its public water systems, with documentation completed on standardized county forms.
Vendors will assist the county in updating the cross-connection control database, ensuring compliance and accurate records. The initial hazard assessment must evaluate conditions as outlined in CCCPH, Section 3.2.1.(a)–(c), and categorize the degree of hazard risk to the water system. Additionally, the selected provider will verify that all premises with fire protection systems are adequately protected against backflow.
