DESCRIPTION


The vendor will provide correspondence and written communications training services focused on producing professional, clear, and effective military documents. Training will cover digital communication standards, including professional email writing, military formatting, subject lines, punctuation, and capitalization.

The instruction will include practical proofreading and editing exercises, quality checks, formatting verification, plain-language principles, audience analysis, and the seven traits of effective writing: clarity, conciseness, cohesion, organization, tone, accuracy, and correct grammar. Participants will also learn to apply the four-step writing process—planning, drafting, revising, and editing—to military documents efficiently.

The provider may not offer individual consulting, strategic planning, personalized organizational advising, personal financial or retirement advice, or advertising and promotion of proprietary training, consulting services, or follow-on commercial offerings during or after the training sessions. This opportunity is set aside for total small businesses under FAR 19.5.
