DESCRIPTION
The government authority in East Hartford, Connecticut seeks a qualified provider for construction manager at risk services. The selected Construction Manager (CM) will be responsible for reviewing architectural plans and specifications and offering recommendations to enhance project constructability.
The CM will deliver comprehensive construction cost estimating services, including preparation of preliminary, interim, and final cost estimates for each project component to ensure the project remains within budget. Additional responsibilities include developing pre-qualification standards for all trade bids following pre-construction reviews, and the creation and regular updating of detailed construction schedules.
The CM will oversee all facets of project construction management, including leading weekly construction meetings, managing change orders, and handling payment requisitions. All documentation required for billing purposes, such as lien waivers and other related materials, must also be provided and maintained throughout the project.
