A government authority in Randall, Texas is seeking qualified firms to provide Construction Manager at Risk services for extensive additions and renovations to the court and district attorney's offices. The scope of work includes two significant building additions and related site improvements.
The first component involves a 4,848 square foot addition to the District Attorney’s office, featuring 18 new offices, conference rooms, an expanded breakroom with a movable wall, a secure vestibule with controlled entry and exit, and concrete bollard protection along the entire west face. The second component consists of a 6,630 square foot expansion for a new courtroom with judge's chambers, secured access corridors, expanded jury and grand jury rooms—including a coffee bar and witness spaces—and repurposing of an existing witness room into a conference room with built-in storage.
Site improvements will involve new concrete paving and striping to accommodate 398 parking spaces, demolition and replacement of landscaped islands, installation of pedestrian walkways, construction of new concrete bollards, a drive connector to 24th Street, and designated employee parking. A pre-proposal meeting is scheduled for February 3, 2026.
This project presents an opportunity for experienced construction management firms with a background in public facility additions and renovations, site development, and security-focused upgrades.
