A government authority in Vidalia, Georgia is seeking a qualified Construction Manager at Risk (CMR) to oversee both pre-construction and construction services for a renovation and expansion project. The project will involve the renovation of an existing 4,025 square foot heated space, a 575 square foot outdoor patio, and the addition of approximately 1,720 square feet to expand the children’s area and meeting room.

The selected CMR will work closely with the project's Design Professional, who will develop component bid packages throughout the course of construction. Preconstruction responsibilities will include technical review, cost verification and evaluation, value engineering, and the development and assessment of schedules. Throughout construction, the CMR will manage construction methods, ensure site safety, coordinate all construction and miscellaneous contracts, and maintain the project’s adherence to its predetermined budget and schedule.
