A government authority in Buffalo, NY is seeking a Construction Manager as Agent to oversee a computing facility project under a three-year contract. The selected firm will be responsible for the overall administration, coordination, monitoring, and inspection of contractors' activities throughout the duration of the project.

Duties include maintaining a full-time, onsite staff dedicated to construction contract administration and inspections, actively monitoring consultants’ management of contract documents and ensuring the effective distribution and review of revised drawings and specifications. The Construction Manager will assist with tracking all formal communications between contractors and consultants and will also review and approve contractors’ site logistics narratives and plans.

The role requires ongoing on-site observation to verify the progress and quality of work, continuing until final project completion. Additionally, the selected firm will participate in joint inspections with the project owner and consultants approximately thirty to forty-five days prior to the owner assuming full occupancy or operation of the facility.
