DESCRIPTION

A government authority in Boise, Idaho seeks a vendor to provide comprehensive mail distribution and printing services, supporting the communication needs of its various departments and elected offices. The scope includes production, processing, and distribution of printed materials and mail, with daily first-class and large envelope pickup from the agency facility (Monday–Friday, no earlier than 2:45 p.m.). Barcoding of first-class mail is required to improve service speed and reduce costs, along with a County-approved security plan for handling sensitive mail.

The vendor must also offer intelligent multi-page inserting for billings and statements, statement imaging and programming, and bulk mail processing—including address list standardization, postage optimization, “Fast forwarding/NCOAlink” for address changes, address printing, tabbing, and sort preparation. A robust contingency and backup plan for equipment failure is essential, as is the ability to store extra envelopes and inventory. Additional requirements include certified mail service, daily pickup of miscellaneous non-metered and metered mail, daily postal discount services through bar-coding and sorting, and support for data intake and formatting, electronic delivery, online job submission/approval, and address management.
