The government authority in Saint Paul, Minnesota, is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive day-to-day operations and management services for its parking facilities. The selected contractor will be responsible for running all aspects of the parking facilities, including back-office operations, permitting, customer service, equipment repair, maintenance, security, and revenue collection. Additional responsibilities include managing contracts with monthly parkers and working closely with the Parking Manager and other designated city officials.
The contractor will act as a liaison between the public and the agency regarding parking matters to ensure high facility performance and exceptional customer service. Adequate staffing must be provided during all designated operating hours, with the requirement that all staff are fluent in English and must pass necessary background and driver’s license checks. The role also involves maintaining equipment, signage, hardware, software, and the structural, architectural, and mechanical elements within the facilities.
Management of event parking operations and coordination of all security-related services is also expected. The contract will be for a period of one year, with specific requirements regarding responses to questions and participation in a mandatory pre-bid meeting.
