DESCRIPTION
The selected vendor will conduct a feasibility study and provide ongoing campaign counsel for a multi-year comprehensive fundraising campaign. Responsibilities include assessing institutional readiness for a large-scale fundraising initiative, evaluating potential campaign goals and philanthropic capacity, and testing campaign priorities, particularly the proposed DO School. The consultant will offer strategic recommendations to maximize fundraising efforts and deliver comprehensive campaign planning guidance.
Key services consist of reviewing institutional documentation, collaborating with Development & Alumni Engagement staff to refine campaign priorities, and assisting in the creation of foundational and supporting documents to guide philanthropic strategy. The vendor will carry out market analysis and campaign assessment, suggest a detailed campaign budget, structure, timeline, milestones, and evaluation methodologies, and provide naming, branding, and tool recommendations. Support will also include advising on prospect identification, campaign communications, alumni and donor engagement, principal and leadership gift strategy, and event planning for campaign launch and closure.
Special attention will be given to strategies for reaching new and diverse audiences, developing donor engagement for the new DO School without an alumni base, and continuously refining communications and messaging. The consultant will work closely with institutional leaders to ensure optimal campaign execution and successful fundraising outcomes.
