The project seeks a vendor to provide comprehensive community school services aligned with a 2024–2029 Strategic Plan focused on a school redesign model. This approach integrates academics, health and social supports, youth and family development, and community engagement to support the whole child.
Vendors are expected to deliver direct or indirect services supporting a systemic Community School model, including— but not limited to— health care, mentoring, expanded learning programs, adult education, and family and community support initiatives. Critical academic services include tutoring, literacy, and expanded learning opportunities during and outside of the standard school day. Other targeted areas encompass social-emotional learning and safety (such as emotional regulation, conflict resolution, and violence prevention), youth and family leadership, physical health care and wellness, recreation, and support for basic needs and housing.
Additionally, the vendor should be capable of providing professional development, technical assistance, coordination of the model, and research evaluation. The initial contract will last for one year, with all questions regarding the RFP to be submitted by July 1, 2026.
