DESCRIPTION

The government authority located in Kamloops, British Columbia, is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive community network maintenance services. The scope includes coordination with agency staff, stakeholders, and third parties, along with incident response, fault isolation, and restoration services. The contractor will be responsible for regular testing, certification, documentation, and participation in service management and reporting meetings.

For fibre-optic maintenance, the vendor will conduct emergency repairs of damaged fibre–optic cables, perform fusion splicing and approved temporary mechanical splicing, replace damaged components, conduct testing, and submit test results to the agency. The vendor will also provide permanent restoration services following any temporary repairs.

Fibre–optic installation requirements include both Outside Plant (OSP) construction (underground and aerial) and Inside Plant (ISP) work such as building entry, riser, and termination. The contractor must execute fibre termination, testing, certification, network extensions, and creation of network ring topologies.
