The Colorado Department of Early Childhood (CDEC) is soliciting proposals for maintenance, support, and enhancements for the Colorado Child Care Licensing System (CCCLS), an AWS cloud-based, CJIS-compliant background check investigation and processing system. The vendor will provide support for the system, which includes a client web application, backend processor, Windows services, and a SQL Server database. The contract term is one year, from July 1, 2027, through June 30, 2028, with the option for up to four additional one-year renewals. The work will be performed in Denver County, Colorado.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Organization must be Criminal Justice Information System (CJIS) certified
  • All staff provided for this solution must be CJIS Certified
  • All staff must be fingerprinted and adjudicated appropriately for access to CJI data
  • Vendor must support secure file transfers
  • Vendor must protect sensitive data and meet federal guidelines for the protection of criminal justice data
  • Vendor must have experience with T-SQL, Angular, C#, and .net5
  • Vendor must be registered in CORE
  • Vendor must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM.gov)
