The State of Texas is seeking a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive CMS modernization and migration services. The project will involve replacing the current content management system with Crafter CMS, a modern, low or no-code platform featuring drag-and-drop capabilities intended to enhance user experience and streamline workflows.
Key responsibilities include migrating all existing website layouts, content, assets, users, permissions, and workflows into Crafter CMS. The selected vendor will also be tasked with rebuilding all current content type definitions (CTDs) and V3 components from the EDU Guide, ensuring they are easily accessible for drag-and-drop use in the new system. HTML editing access will be required for IT Digital team administrators and superusers, while maintaining system security and integrity.
Additionally, the vendor must configure Crafter CMS to support ongoing and future website functionality, and ensure seamless integration with current authentication systems, Profile+, elastic search, and other third-party platforms such as Taggbox, Localist, analytics, and marketing tools. The objective is to deliver improved content management efficiency, digital accessibility, and streamlined publishing workflows for the primary website and associated subdomains.
