The vendor will provide a secure, cloud-based real-time language interpretation software solution supporting operational, investigative, and administrative activities. The fully operational and managed solution must include access to certified professional interpreters, on-demand and scheduled interpretation, and availability 24 hours per day, seven days per week.
The solution must be accessible through mobile devices for approximately 2,000 or more members and through Windows-based computers. Required capabilities include real-time on-demand audio and video interpretation, including sign language, scheduled interpretation for planned interactions, and support for police operational, investigative, and administrative functions. On-demand interpretation must cover a broad range of spoken languages, including Chinese, Iranian Farsi, Spanish, Turkish, and Russian.
