(1) Vendor needs to provide cloud–based energy infrastructure permit lifecycle manager software–as–a–service (SaaS) solution. • Configure/customize and deploy a cloud–based SaaS permit lifecycle tracking platform that aligns with existing online docket management tools (eApplications) and records repository, and existing public geographic information system (GIS) data platform • Ensure API or batch data export/import compatibility for seamless data exchange with legacy systems • Establish authentication and access control mechanisms for internal resources and public interaction • Interoperability with Legacy Systems: API–driven integration will facilitate real–time data exchange, if API integration is not possible then regularly scheduled batch data import/export capabilities will be implemented, eliminating workflow fragmentation and manual reconciliation. • Robust authentication protocols will ensure secure user interactions, with tiered permissions for agency staff. • Automate notifications for internal stakeholders (assigned staff and supervisors) to automate tracking of application status updates, filing deadlines, compliance reminders, and other process milestones • Automated Notifications: Status updates and compliance alerts to improve responsiveness, keeping regulatory staff and public informed in real time. • Automate report generation to ensure timely updates without manual intervention.
