The University of Rhode Island is seeking a cloud-based solution for comprehensive and automated transfer credit evaluation. The desired platform should provide an end-to-end process supporting the intake, parsing, evaluation, and articulation of both official and unofficial academic transcripts. Utilizing advanced technologies such as Optical Character Recognition (OCR), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Machine Learning (ML), the solution must be capable of extracting transcript data and matching it with the university’s institutional equivalency rules.

Seamless integration with URI's Student Information System (PeopleSoft) and its degree audit platform is a key requirement. The platform should also offer robust system integration and interoperability capabilities, ensure security, compliance, and accessibility, and feature strong reporting and analytics functions. Additional expectations include a structured approach to implementation and project management, along with ongoing support and maintenance services.

The contract period for the selected vendor will be three years.
