Cloud-Based Complex Asset and Maintenance Management System

The Town of Moncton, New Brunswick is seeking information from vendors capable of providing a cloud-based complex asset management and maintenance management system. The requested solution should support asset and maintenance management practices for complex assets through a vendor-hosted SaaS platform that is fully accessible through web browsers without requiring local client software or town-hosted application infrastructure.

The solution should support secure data import and export through APIs and structured file exchange, as well as browser-based self-service access from computers, smartphones, and tablets. It must store and process all town data, including backup and disaster recovery data, and provide secure account management for standard, privileged, administrative, and local user accounts. Required security capabilities include standards-based single sign-on federation, role-based access control, least privilege, and segregation of duties.

The system should provide searchable and exportable audit and other logs, with vendors specifying retention periods. It should also be designed with redundancy and failover so that the failure of a single hosting component does not make the service unavailable. Additional functionality includes data export for reporting and analytics and the ability to create custom reports within the system.
