Key responsibilities include conducting outreach campaigns to identify and recruit prospective providers through in-person or virtual events, social media, and distribution of informational materials such as flyers. The vendor will be responsible for maintaining the software platform, which must support core business functions for providers—such as marketing their services, enrolling children, communicating with families, billing, and managing expenses.

Additionally, the selected vendor will develop informational resources to assist licensed providers with marketing and outreach efforts. Coaching and training for child care staff will be offered through various formats, including in-person training, group sessions, on-site visits, and community events. The scope also includes recruitment of program applicants, the administration of training and surveys, and the creation or procurement of a child care management system (CCMS) tool.
