A Kentucky municipality is seeking an experienced event producer to plan, coordinate, and execute a comprehensive July 4th celebration. The event will be free and open to the public, aiming to reflect community values, promote economic impact, and enhance civic pride, while ensuring the safety and enjoyment of all participants.

The selected vendor will be responsible for managing all aspects of the celebration, including entertainment, history-themed programming, food and beverage services, family-friendly activities, and a professionally managed fireworks display. Additional elements include a drone show, military aerial flyovers, a VIP hospitality area, parade integration, and a live broadcast partnership. The producer will also oversee sponsor activations, signage, brand visibility, and wayfinding throughout the event space.

Responsibilities extend to developing and managing digital tools such as an event website, ticketing solutions if applicable, and mobile apps. The vendor will create and implement a robust marketing campaign covering digital, print, broadcast, social media, and tourism channels, as well as develop sponsor packages and oversee event lighting and staging. The contract for these services will be for a period of one year.
