Ontario is seeking a vendor to supply categorization software that will be hosted on-premise at the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) premise. The software must be compatible with both virtualized and non-virtualized Windows 10/11 environments.
Key requirements include AI-powered classification capabilities for automatic categorization of both images and videos. The system should be capable of identifying known series, alerting investigators to relevant series titles, and indicating the existence of victim impact statements. Users must be able to adjust confidence levels within the categorization engine and the software must support maintenance of a local MySQL categorization database.
Additional features include open API access to facilitate integration with external tools and custom workflows, advanced search capabilities utilizing keywords, metadata, Boolean queries, and tag-based filtering and search. This solution is designed to enhance investigative workflows through robust categorization and flexible extensibility.
