The work also includes demolition of an indoor freezer, indoor cooler, underground fire suppression system infrastructure, an exterior 86,000-gallon underground steel water tank located on the north side of the warehouse, and the fire pump house on the northwest side of the warehouse. All demolition materials, including building debris, concrete, masonry, asphalt, and parking lot debris, must be hauled off site to a legal landfill or reclaim facility.

Following demolition, all resulting voids caused by the removal of the concrete slab and foundation walls must be filled with suitable soil and properly compacted. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for August 4, 2026.
