Building and Building Systems Commissioning Services for AI2C Building Renovation

Randolph Community College is seeking building and building systems commissioning services for the renovation of an existing warehouse building on its main campus to create the Applied Industrial Artificial Intelligence Center of North Carolina. The project involves approximately 25,000 square feet of space, currently an unoccupied, unconditioned warehouse constructed of CMU block walls, interior steel frame, and a built-up roof system. The objective is to create classroom and lab space for AI programs, including AI research and development labs, agribusiness, building trades, and customized training. The selected firm will provide oversight and quality assurance from design development through construction and owner occupancy to ensure the building envelope and systems are designed, installed, tested, and performing according to the owner's project requirements.
