DESCRIPTION

The government authority in Little Rock, Arkansas is seeking a vendor to provide bridge construction services. The bridge must support a minimum weight rating of 125,000 pounds and have a minimum deck width of 14 feet. Guardrail blocks must measure 6 inches wide by 6 inches tall by 3 feet long, be placed approximately 10 to 12 feet apart, and be poured in place during the deck pour with rebar stubs connecting them to the deck.

The bridge and abutments should be aligned with the flow of water and span the entire bank-full width of each channel crossing, which is approximately 40 to 50 feet. Piers and abutments may be considered but are not preferred. The bridge should maintain a natural stream bottom; if that cannot be achieved, the crossing bottom should be flush with the stream bottom.
