DESCRIPTION
The agency is seeking a vendor to provide an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) program management and concierge platform. The required solution must be a secure, web-based platform that facilitates inspection and expiration tracking, provides medical oversight, and offers post-event support to ensure all AED units are ready for emergency use and compliant with regulatory mandates.
Key features include comprehensive management of AED locations, status, readiness, and the ability to track serial numbers, battery and pad expiration dates, inspection records, and training history. The platform should deliver automated alerts for upcoming expirations, maintain monthly inspection histories, and generate detailed reports by location, unit, expiration, inspection status, and service history. A centralized document repository, user access controls, authentication methods, data backup and recovery, as well as data retention, transfer, and export capabilities are also required. Support for policy and procedure updates is expected as part of the solution.
