DESCRIPTION
The City of San Marcos, Texas, is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive audit and survey services related to foreign (third-party) pole attachments. The selected provider will be responsible for identifying and documenting each attachment by entity and attachment type, verifying ownership through labeling, physical characteristics, or city records, and maintaining a detailed log that categorizes attachments such as cable, telephone, broadband, or wireless.
The services will also include identifying unpermitted, untagged, or unauthorized attachments, measuring and recording the height above ground of each attachment, and evaluating the condition and safety compliance of all attachments, including clearance checks where feasible. The vendor will prepare and deliver a detailed Attachment Audit Report, organized by entity, including pole IDs, locations, and compliance findings. All questions regarding this RFP must be submitted by June 18, 2026.
