The City of Oak Ridge is soliciting qualifications from licensed surveying firms to provide on-call, as-needed professional land surveying services. The scope includes boundary and title surveys, topographic and site mapping, right-of-way and infrastructure location, construction staking, and other specialized services such as GIS data collection, drone-based mapping, and LiDAR. The initial contract term is two years, with the option for two additional two-year extensions, for a maximum total term of six years.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be a qualified, licensed surveying firm
  • Must be registered to do business in the state of Tennessee
  • Must maintain all required professional and business licenses throughout the term of the contract
  • Must have demonstrated surveying experience within the local region
  • Must have a record of successfully executing similar boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS, and municipal infrastructure surveys
  • Must have no real or perceived conflicts of interest between the firm and the City
  • Must be able to comply with the insurance requirements contained in the Sample Agreement
