Annual Services for REES Centron Monitoring System

The U.S. Department of Commerce, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Western Acquisition Division in Seattle, Washington, intends to award a firm-fixed-price purchase order on a sole-source basis for annual service and support of the REES Scientific Centron environmental monitoring system. The required services include calibration, validation, and on-site support for both the system's hardware and software.

NOAA states that the REES Centron hardware and software are proprietary, and that use of non-authorized service providers could void warranties and potentially affect system performance, data integrity, and regulatory compliance. The annual calibration and validation are required to maintain compliance with Food and Drug Administration requirements and other applicable regulatory standards.
