DESCRIPTION


The selected vendor will be responsible for providing comprehensive billing, collections, and payment processing services for Basic Life Support (BLS) ambulance operations. Duties include preparing and submitting insurance claims to Medicare, Medicaid, private insurers, and self-pay patients; managing all collections and payment processing; and producing detailed monthly financial reports and deposit summaries.

The vendor will also assist with patient billing inquiries and must maintain full compliance with all relevant federal, state, and local laws. This includes adhering to HIPAA requirements and Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) regulations and guidance related to ambulance billing services.
