Airport Environmental Compliance Consultant Services

The government authority located in West Palm Beach, Florida, seeks a vendor to provide airport environmental compliance consulting services on an as-needed basis. The selected consultant will deliver professional support and external environmental expertise, ensuring all airport activities adhere to federal, state, and local regulations to minimize environmental impacts.

Key responsibilities include assessments related to air quality, water management—including jurisdictional water and stormwater—and pollution prevention as well as solid and hazardous waste management. Additional areas of concern encompass wildlife mitigation associated with airport operations. The consultant will perform periodic audits of regulatory compliance, inspect facilities to maintain standards, and assess tenant activities.

Services also involve conducting environmental assessments for contaminated media, industrial operations, acquisitions, and disposals, and developing comprehensive reports with actionable recommendations. The consultant will assist with permit applications and coordinate with relevant agencies throughout the permitting process. The contract is set for a two-year period.
